Our executive chef Dan Ratigan and his culinary team prepare an eclectic blend of Northwest fare utilizing the rich bounty of the region.  Our dishes feature superb cuts of organically raised local beef and lamb, an abundant variety of fresh seafood and produce from local farmers, picked off the vine and onto the table the same day.

Originally from upstate New York, Dan Ratigan arrived in the Pacific Northwest at age 14 and worked his way up through many of Seattle's finest restaurants before taking the helm at The Fireside Restaurant in 2007. Since then Chef Dan has worked to create seasonal menus that feature Northwest gastronomy at its best. Dan's approach is simple. Start with top-notch ingredients, prepare them carefully and send them out of the kitchen in meals that showcase the best the ingredients have to offer.

These menus are a representation of the cuisine we serve and may not reflect our current offerings, as we like to change our menus regularly to bring you new and innovative dishes and to offer fresh, in-season produce whenever possible.

Cellar Master Anne Sackett


Anne Sackett has been in the restaurant business for almost 40 years and a wine buyer for nearly 20. After receiving her Sommelier Certification through the International Sommelier Guide (ISG) in 2009, Anne joined The Resort at Port Ludlow as the Cellar Master for the Fireside Restaurant. After attending food and wine pairing courses at the Culinary Institute of America in Napa, Anne now offers 2oz wine pairings with many of the Fireside Restaurant’s dinner selections.

Anne’s expertise has led to numerous awards bestowed upon the Fireside Restaurant. Her curated wine list consists of over 600 selections from Washington State, Oregon, California and the old world. Awards include the 2014 Washington State Grand Wine Award and receiving “2 glasses” on the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence in 2014.
