Named after the historical wood-shafted equivalent of today’s 8 or 9 irons, our café enjoys expansive views of the Port Ludlow Golf Course. Diners have many choices available with our new cocktail, appetizer, and entrée menus. Serving both breakfast and lunch, Niblicks café features traditional clubhouse favorites and healthy salads and wraps. In the warmer seasons, look for our pit BBQ rib and hotdog specials, while in cooler months, warm up with our delicious made from scratch soups. Ask us about our to-go menus as well.
If you have catering or group needs, we provide a full spectrum of options which we are happy to tailor to your event. Please contact our Food and Beverage Manager, Elizabeth Gilbert at for additional information.
Definition of a Niblick:
It is believed the term “niblick” refers to the ac¬tion of “nipping” or “nibbling” the ball off the turf. The niblicks ancestor was the “Rut Iron” which was designed to be used to extract the ball from the cart tracks across the grounds.
The niblick is a wooden-shafted histori¬cal iron headed club with a large amount of loft used prior to the 20th Century.
